Abigail Schellhammer, PMHNP-BC, RN

Abigail Schellhammer, NP, is an experienced nurse practitioner with a background in mental health care, primary care, and gerontology. At Pure Psychiatry of Michigan in Plymouth, Wayne, Wyandotte, Wixom, and Okemos, Michigan, Abigal helps individuals struggling with insomnia, eating disorders, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.

Abigail completed her associate degree in nursing at Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan. She then pursued a bachelor’s in nursing at the University of Michigan-Flint in Flint, Michigan, where she was a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. 

Abigail earned a master’s in nursing with a focus on adult/gerontology care at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. Her academic accomplishments and hands-on experiences equip her to deliver comprehensive care to people of all ages.

Abigail proudly employs the most up-to-date, evidence-based interventions at Pure Psychiatry. She welcomes the opportunity to meet new patients and help them along their mental health journeys.
