Harrison Long, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant serving patients, ranging from adolescents to the elderly, at Pure Psychiatry of Michigan. He works out of the practice's Wyandotte, Wixom and Plymouth, Michigan offices.
Harrison completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. In 2020, he earned his Master of Science in physician assistant studies from the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit.
Harrison has experience evaluating and treating patients in home and clinical settings. He treats various conditions, including anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
Harrison entered the field of psychiatry to make a difference where it's most needed. He believes the importance of one's mental health remains undervalued in society and is, unfortunately, stigmatized to this day. Harrison hopes to slowly change that perspective by providing a fine-tuned, empathetic, and safe approach to treating his patients.
At Pure Psychiatry of Michigan, Harrison takes a patient-oriented approach to care. He hopes this approach will show others who may be reluctant to seek help that it is an easy choice.
