Robin received her Master’s in Clinical Behavioral Psychology from Eastern Michigan University in 1992. She has over 30 years’ experience working in both outpatient psychiatric clinics and community mental health settings with adolescents and adults.
Robin provides a collaborative, person centered approach to treatment that focuses on improving the overall quality of a person’s life. It is essential to provide a safe, inviting atmosphere and build trust and rapport with each client, allowing them to express themselves openly without judgment. Robin has been trained in a various methods of treatment, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Trauma Informed Care and Person-Centered treatment. However, it is her belief that an individual’s treatment should be based on their specific strengths and individualized needs, therefore, she utilizes an eclectic approach based on the goals identified by the client.
